Overview

253MA heat-resistant stainless steel (UNS S30815) uses rare-earth micro-alloying to stay stable at service temperatures up to 1150 °C. Current stock covers width 1500–3000 mm. Typical buyers specify it for Radiant tubes, kiln rollers and incinerator chambers. Cut-to-length and slitting are available; every shipment carries a mill test certificate, and stocked sizes dispatch in 7-10 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your minimum order quantity?

MOQ is flexible — we customize it to your project with no fixed minimums. Just tell us what you need and we will give you a number within 24 hours.

When should I use 316 instead of 304?

316 is the same as 304 but with molybdenum added. That makes it handle salt water, acids, and harsh chemicals much better. It is used in marine environments, food processing with salts, and chemical plants. It costs more, so only use it where 304 will not hold up.

What about duplex and super duplex grades?

Duplex grades like 2205 and 2507 are the heavy hitters. Twice the strength of 304, much better corrosion resistance, especially against pitting. Used in oil and gas, chemical processing, and offshore work. They cost more per kilogram but you often use less material because they are stronger.

What surface finishes do you actually offer?

2B is our default — matte, good for most industrial uses. No.4 is the brushed finish that is popular for appliances and architectural trim. Mirror finish when you need that polished glass effect. BA gives you a shiny surface straight from the mill without extra polishing. We can also do hairline.

Do you provide material test reports?

Every shipment comes with an MTR — chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, all verified. For 304 and 316, it shows the exact nickel and chromium content. You can trace every piece back to the mill if needed.

How long does shipping take?

It depends on where you are and what we are shipping. Within China, a few days. To main ports in Southeast Asia, about two weeks. Europe and North America typically 25-35 days by sea. Air freight is faster but costs more — we always show both options so you can decide.
