Carbon steel offers dependable strength and the lowest cost per tonne of any structural material, which is why large-scale construction and machinery continue to rely on it. We supply hot-rolled plate, coil and medium plate in the standard grades Q235B, Q355B and SS400, with line-pipe and special grades available on request. The material welds cleanly, forms readily and offers stable, certified mechanical properties that simplify every stage of fabrication. It is the default choice for structural frames and bridges, machinery bases, shipbuilding structures and utility towers where certified performance and economy must balance.
Our carbon steel line is built around the two grades Chinese mills ship most: Q235B for structures, 45# (S45C) for machined parts. 24 products, all mill-certificated, all leaving the same Wuxi warehouse as our stainless lines.
Q235B comes as angle steel, hot-rolled plate in 1250–2500 mm widths, cold-rolled coil and sheet in 600–1250 mm, galvanized sheet, and round bar from 8 to 200 mm. 45# medium-carbon round bar runs 10–200 mm for gears, shafts and fasteners. Q235B welds and forms easily — the default for frames, supports and sheet-metal work. 45# carries about 0.45 % carbon; after quench and temper it takes the hardness that gears and spindles need. Cut-to-length, slitting and custom widths are done in-house, so coil arrives at your fabricator ready to run. Mill test certificates go out with every shipment, and dimensional reports are available on request.
