321 is titanium-stabilised so it resists sensitisation after welding; 309S takes the higher temperatures. The grades to reach for when 304 or 316L falls short. Factory direct, MTC EN10204 3.1, quote in 24 hours.

Organised by application. Each grade is backed by ASTM / EN / JIS / GB specifications, with chemical composition, mechanical properties and mill test certificates on every shipment.
Stabilised and general-purpose austenitics — good corrosion resistance with controlled sensitisation for heat-exposed service.
Molybdenum-bearing austenitics — the standard grades for chemical, marine and pharmaceutical service.
Super austenitic and super duplex — the highest corrosion resistance for offshore, acid service and desalination.
High-chromium austenitics for furnace equipment, heat treatment and high-temperature structural service.
Duplex stainless combining high strength with excellent chloride resistance — a thinner plate that does the same job.

321, a titanium-stabilised 304 type, and 309S for higher-temperature work. Between them they cover the cases where plain 304 or 316L does not quite fit.
When the sheet will be welded or held at high temperature for long stretches. The titanium ties up carbon so carbides do not precipitate, and 321 keeps its corrosion resistance after fabrication.
321: 3–100 mm in 1219 and 1500 mm widths, in 2B, No.1, No.4 and BA. 309S: 3–100 mm in 1500 mm, No.1 or 2B.
That is its strongest suit. 309S withstands oxidation and thermal cycling better than 304, which is why it turns up in furnace, boiler and heat-treatment hardware. At ambient temperature, 321 or 316L is usually the better buy.
Yes, the EN10204 3.1 certificate with chemistry and mechanical properties accompanies the order, and third-party inspection can be added on request.
